Visit Campus
Take a Campus Tour
Visiting Lewis & Clark is the best way to get to know us. Our three campuses—undergraduate, graduate, and law—are nestled in a forest just six miles from downtown Portland, and we have a free shuttle that will take you there.
Our undergraduate campus spans a ravine and is surrounded by trees, giving you ample space to explore and connect with nature.
Our law school is located next door to Tryon Creek State Park, which is where you’ll find members of our community hiking the 13 miles of stunning nature trails.
And our graduate school has an expansive green lawn that serves as a backyard, commonly listed as our students’ favorite place on campus. It’s also where our bee garden is housed!

Explore Portland
Lewis & Clark is located in the lush hills of South Portland, the city’s “sixth quadrant.” But our beautiful campuses aren’t the entire story—our location offers something that most other schools do not: an ideal setting in a vibrant, progressive city with endless networking, entertainment, and cultural resources.
- Haley Wildhirt BA ’22
If I want to be in the bustle of the city, it’s a 15-minute bus ride downtown to Pioneer Square. If I want to be in nature, I can hike around on campus, or drive an hour to Mount Hood, or drive 90 minutes to the coast.

My favorite thing about living in Portland is how low pressure the city is. Portland has room for everyone.

When not focusing on my studies—I was running around Portland going to concerts, spending all my extra cash at Powell’s, and going to my wonderful friends’ art shows, performances, etc.
